| Outreach at OPPC
There are many worthy outreach projects and mission opportunities that Ormewood Park Presbyterian Church (or any church for that matter) could support with its prayers and presence and financial gifts. For the year 2004 OPPC has chosen to emphasize the following ministries: |

| One Great Hour of Sharing the ecumenical and annual special offering that has assisted hundreds of thousands of people since the end of World War II. Presbyterian Homes of Georgia at Austell, Quitman, and Decatur, Presbyterian Homes offer retirement living as well as nursing home care to our aging population. Clifton Night Hospitality, Savannah Street Neighborhood House, and Grant Park Food Bank. These three ministries in our larger community help to feed the hungry, house the homeless, and care for the marginalized. Thornwell Home and School for Children began as an orphanage and has developed into a highly rated home and school for children who are experiencing difficulties in their lives. Joy Offering is the annual offering at Christmastime that goes to support retired Presbyterian missionaries and ministers and support Presbyterian minority schools. |
